1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the instrument.

6.2. Taking Measurements (IR and Ambient)

The Testo 810 simultaneously measures both surface and air temperatures.

6.3. Adjusting Emissivity (ε)

Emissivity is crucial for accurate infrared temperature measurement. Different materials have different emissivity values. The Testo 810 allows adjustment from 0.10 to 1.00.

1. With the instrument on, press the Rejim button repeatedly until the emissivity symbol (ε) appears on the display.
