2.2 Attaching the Column to the Base

2.3 Installing the Worktable

Slide the worktable assembly onto the column. The worktable can be adjusted vertically and rotated around the column. Tighten the locking handle to secure the table at the desired height.

2.4 Mounting the Drill Press Head

Carefully place the drill press head onto the top of the column. Secure it using the set screws as indicated in the manual. Ensure the head is firmly seated and aligned.

2.5 Chuck Installation and Bit Insertion

Insert the chuck onto the spindle. The keyed chuck accepts bits ranging from 1/20 to 1/2 inch in diameter (1.5 to 13 mm). Use the provided chuck key to securely tighten drill bits. The chuck key can be stored on the side of the drill press for convenience.

Use the easy-to-read, locking depth stop for accurate and repeatable drilling operations. Adjust the depth stop to the desired drilling depth and secure it. This prevents drilling deeper than intended.

3.4 Workpiece Securing

Always secure your workpiece to the slotted table using clamps or vises. This prevents the workpiece from rotating or shifting during drilling, ensuring safety and accuracy.
