You can adjust the switch-on threshold using the potentiometers located on the detector head. Correct setting of the threshold ensures the light only turns on when ambient light falls below the desired level.
Continuous thermal activity within the detection area might be causing this. Remove potential heat sources like radiators or fans, and check if the detector functions properly by temporarily covering the lens. Also, ensure the detector isn't connected in parallel to a manual override switch.
